Destination Rail: Enterprise Station

About the Course

Enterprise Station further develops student's teamwork skills as they work together to design the blueprint for an over-station in a specific UK location. Focus is given to understanding key financial terms, learning about more rail careers, and developing good presentation skills.

Learner outcomes: 

• Understand the range of careers within the rail industry and the different routes available. 

• Take part in hands on challenges to develop transferable skills. 

• Use innovation and creativity to be practical problem solvers and present their own designs. 

Teacher outcomes: 

• Provide careers related learning within subject lessons. 

• Hands-on activity that develops the pupils' ability to use cross curricular knowledge and skills, and work as team.
