Destination Rail:
School Resources
We are delighted to share with you the Destination Rail Green Challenge. An in-school challenge created on behalf of Derbyshire County Council and Chesterfield Borough council, and supported by Talgo Rail. The challenge aims to assist in developing the workforce needed in the Chesterfield and Stavely area for the future.
Both the Primary and Secondary challenges aim to challenge children’s perceptions of careers in rail by presenting the industry in a way that is engaging while allowing them to develop their skills in teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, communication and more.
The challenge packs below include a teacher pack, detailing how to run an in-school competition, PowerPoint presentation and student resources.
We would love to see what creative solutions students come up with to solve the challenges! Share with us on social media #learnbydesign #destinationrail
