This is a digital event and we believe that safeguarding of the young people accessing the event is very important.
We therefore ask you to read and agree to the following conditions about the event before continuing.
Online Safety Agreement
Staffordshire University, Big Bang and Learn By Design recognises the relevance and importance of online and virtual learning for education and for personal development. Our programme of activities for young people under the age of 18, includes webinars, live events and challenge activities. These involve use of the internet, online platforms, social media, websites, games and apps.
In making use of online education and development for the benefits of young people we also recognise that we need additional safeguards in place for the safety and wellbeing of young people using the internet, social media and devices.
This agreement forms part of our overall Policies and Practices for Safeguarding and Codes of Conduct for young people. If you would like to know more about this please contact email@example.com

Parent/Carer/Support Worker Agreement:
For your young person to take part in this programme of activity you will need to read and discuss these the agreement below and both you and the young people will need to sign or tick yes in the box to consent to these.
Challenge activities and workshops will require parental/adult involvement including choosing ‘ingredients’, supervision and safety while carrying out the activities.
If this is not completed, the young person cannot take part in the programme of activities.
I am happy to take part in the programme of activity delivered online via the platforms explained in programme communications.
I will be responsible for my behaviour when using the internet, including social media platforms, websites, games and apps and resources I access or upload.
I will be responsible for the language I use, and only post comments that I would feel comfortable knowing anyone could read.
I will not deliberately browse, download or upload material that could be considered offensive, harmful or illegal. If I accidentally come across any such material, I will report it immediately to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I will not send anyone material that could be considered threatening, bullying, harmful, offensive or illegal.
I will remove any content that is deemed inappropriate if asked to.
I will not give out any personal information online, such as my full name, phone number, home or email address.
I will not reveal my passwords to anyone.
I will ensure that I review my privacy settings to control what information I share.
I will not arrange a face-to-face meeting with someone I meet online unless I have discussed this with my parents/guardian and am accompanied by a trusted adult.
If I am concerned or upset about anything I see on the internet or any messages that I receive, I know I can talk to my parent/carer and or message email@example.com
We have discussed this online safety agreement. By ticking the boxes we agree to follow the rules set out above.
