DESIGN A BIN
Designer Bin Competition Winners
We are delighted to announce the winners of the Our Future Derby competition in partnership with Engineered Learning Ltd. The challenge was for pupils to design a bin that their school can use to reduce waste and recycle more.
The Our Future Derby programme aims to raise the aspirations of Derby’s children.
The focus of this competition was to raise awareness that we can all play our part in reducing waste through recycling more and reusing materials to reduce waste.
The Judges took on the challenge of voting for their winning entries and were extremely impressed by the high standard of the entries.

During these challenging times, we want to stay connected to hear your views on career-related learning for your child(ren). We would be most grateful if you could please take a few minutes to complete this survey via the link below. Please be assured your answers will be treated anonymously:
We really appreciate your engagement in our programme. Parental support in nurturing children’s aspirations, alongside structured career related learning in schools, provides a foundation for capturing children’s aspirations and influences the learning and work decisions they make in the future.
Why not take this opportunity to talk to your child about their hopes and dreams for the future?
Many thanks and best wishes
from the Our Future Derby team.
