In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.
NCS are proud to be working with The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant to oversee volunteering for the Pageant events in London on Sunday 5th June by recruiting 100 young volunteers and managing the volunteer programme of 200 people.
To mark the occasion, there are going to be celebrations up and down the country as
the Pageant will celebrate The Queen’s reign as well as the collective service of our country and communities. More than 6,000 military personnel, performers, key workers and volunteers will unite to tell the story of the seven decades in the awe-inspiring festival of creativity. Marking the reawakening of the creative sector and drawing on talent from every part of the United Kingdom and across the Commonwealth, the Pageant will combine pomp and ceremony, street arts, theatre, music, circus and costumes.
