The Big Bang East Midlands launch for 2019

The East Midlands Big Bang Launch 2019

Learn by Design celebrate valued partnerships and collaborations today, with the launch of the East Midlands 2019 Big Bang Regional event at the Derby Arena.

Reaching greater heights through employer engagement

#TBBEM2019 is set for 27th June 2019 and most importantly aims to be bigger and more elaborate than ever before, as the push to drive career inspiration into the landscape of East Midlands schools is ever stronger. Continuing to inspire 1000’s of young people to consider a wealth of career options surrounding science, technology, engineering and maths, the event promises to hold a host of engaging career zones for young people to explore. Bringing together businesses, career leaders, council members, schools, teachers and most importantly the young people of our future, the event will be an experience not to be missed.

Star Communicators

The impressive velodrome and it’s 600 seat theatre, will bring additional show experiences, Science Communicators and workshop areas to the event. Whilst The Big Bang Competition entries will take centre stage providing the heart of the action.  The event will also see Engineer, Baker, Presenter Andrew Smyth – Great British Bake off finalist, join us in celebrating engineering at it’s finest.
