Inspire the next generation of engineers
Tomorrow’s Engineers is a national programme of activities led by the engineering community, via Engineering UK. Tomorrow’s Engineers aims to inspire young people to consider a career in engineering.
As national delivery partners for ‘Energy Quest’, Learn by Design delivers a single extended workshop to secondary schools across England. This consists of an exploration of what engineering is, careers guidance and a pair of energy-themed team challenges – the energy mix (i.e. investigating global renewable energy technology), and the hands-on electric car challenge (i.e. building and running miniature electric cars).
Energy Quest is a free, two-part schools programme bringing a spark to STEM learning for students aged 11-14.
