About the Workshop
Short introduction to robots and why they are used in different industries including medicine, manufacturing and entering dangerous teritories.
Using Vex robots learners collect a series of craft building materials (from a danger zone)
With their materials learners then build a bridge over a river that is capable of allowing their robot to travel over it.
Focus is made on how robots are used across the world and can be important in humaniarian cirsis and the miliatry.
Learners reflect on their planning, teamwork and construction.

Room Requirments:
Large classroom or hall - all furniture moved to the sides
Projector and screen
Workshops can be booked on their own and delivered on rotation throughout the day or delivered as part of a series of workshops,
where classes rotate between multiple activities.
