As proud providers for the National Citizen service (NCS) youth programme and with more young people signing up to the programme, each year is getting bigger and bigger.
To celebrate this year's summer programme, we planned a social media campaign with the incentive for young people to share their NCS experiences, memories and adventures whilst using our collaborative hashtag: #NCSLBD.
This campaign took place between June and August.
We introduced the hashtag for young people to use and share so we could keep track of all their adventures, including the incentive of a potential winner for the most engaged post on social media.
This summer, we had more mentions of our hashtag than ever before, reaching almost 40,000 followers and having over 3,000 interactions on social media.
By the end of the summer programme, we had a winner for the most engaged social media post that included the hashtag: #NCSLBD
