Winners of "Outstanding Contribution to work in STEM"

Friday 6th March saw Learn by Design take to the stage and receive the "Outstanding Contribution to work in STEM".






The awards, held at the Doubletree Hilton by Sheffield Park, S8 8BW, Derbyshire, brought together female talent from across Nottingham, Leicester and Derby and showcased the breadth of dedication that exists amongst women in these regions.


Titled "Enterprising Women Awards", East Midlands Chamber treated all the finalists with a Gala dinner and an evening to remember, as female entrepreneurial spirit was championed throughout the celebrations. Check out all the social media action on #ChamberEW


The award ceremony was hosted by Emma Jesson - TV's weather presenter and consisted of the following categories:


  • Social Commitment Award

  • Apprentice of the year

  • Female Employee of the Year

  • Female Entrepreneur of the Year

  • Team of the Year

  • Small Business of the year

  • Business Women of the Year

  • Outstanding contribution to work in STEM
