About the Workshop
Using their creativity and innovation students consider a real world problem as they design a product of the future.
Participants are introduced to what is meant by innovation and have an open discussion around the engineering design process and how this helps people come up with, develop and improve ideas. Working in a small team learners use their creativity to design an innovative product that tackles real world problems.
Once they’ve completed a detailed design, teams will present their ideas to the class in a ‘Dragons Den’ style pitch, considering persuasion and presenting skills.
Can be combined with Survival Stations to make a full day of activities.
